The brief was to produce and package a product for under $25 to sell at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York. My research of the American Market led me to Horween who is based in Chicago. IL.
Horween's Shell Cordovan is arguably one of the world’s finest leathers. Each hide undergoes a six-month-long tanning process within the oldest tannery in America, undergoing a multitude of processes that have been honed over the last century. The result is an extremely robust yet supple leather.
